At Buckingham Pugs, we take great pride in raising happy, healthy, well-socialized pug puppies. Our adoption process is designed to be smooth, transparent, and joyful—for both you and your future fur baby.
Pricing and Deposits
Our puppies are priced between $2000 and $2400, depending on breeding and whelping circumstances such as pedigree, stud service fees, and the need for c-sections. AKC registration is included in the purchase price.
- Deposits are only accepted once puppies are born and we confirm availability.
- A 25% deposit is required to reserve a specific puppy, payable via Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or cash.
- The remaining balance is due at pickup, payable via Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or cash.

Waitlist for Future Litters
If you’re looking for a specific gender or coat color, we offer a waitlist option for families who want to reserve early placement in the selection order.
- A $100 waitlist fee secures your spot.
- Families on the waitlist get first choice (in order of reservation) when puppies become available that match their preferences.
- The waitlist fee is non-refundable, but it applies toward your total adoption price.
Contracts & Guarantees
All buyers are required to sign a purchase contract and health guarantee before taking their puppy home. We use DocuSign for a secure, easy signing process.

This contract covers your responsibilities as a buyer, health standards, care requirements, and our one-year genetic health guarantee. Please read it carefully before reserving your puppy.
Veterinary Care & Health
We partner with Westside Veterinary Hospital in Arab, Alabama, who has cared for our pugs since day one. Every puppy will receive:
- A comprehensive vet exam and health clearance
- Routine deworming at 4, 6, and 8 weeks
- Dew claws removed.
- Their first round of DA2PP vaccination
We raise our puppies to meet or exceed AKC and PDCA breed standards, with a strong focus on health, temperament, and socialization.
What’s Included
Each puppy goes home with a thoughtfully curated puppy package, which includes:
- Vet-checked health guarantee
- Vaccination and deworming records
- Collar
- Goodie bag with toys and treats
- A starter bag of high-quality food we recommend
Pickup Timeline
Puppies are typically ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. We will work with you to schedule a convenient pickup time and ensure a smooth, positive transition for your puppy.
Delivery & Travel Options
We’re happy to help bring your puppy home safely, whether near or far:
- Ground Delivery: Available at a flat rate of $1.25 per mile (non-negotiable), calculated both ways from our location in Arab, Alabama.
- Flight Nanny Service: We will personally fly your puppy to you for the cost of a round-trip airline ticket plus a $500 nanny service fee.
- Airport Meet-Up: You are welcome to fly in and meet us at Huntsville International Airport (HSV) for pickup at no additional charge.
